    Hike Club is an opportunity to practice openness and vulnerability, while being in nature, getting exercise and meeting new people. This is a moderate/challenging hike around 5.3 miles long. Well-behaved, leashed doggies are allowed on this one!

    Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve, Parking lot, Los Angeles, CA 91411, USA
    Hike Club is an opportunity to practice openness and vulnerability, while being in nature, getting exercise and meeting new people This is a easy-level hike, approximately 2.5 miles in Van Nuys. We're watching birds and looking at nature and stuff! Hope to see you there!

lela roy

Lela is an avid nature lover, artist, and natural community builder. Her background in Tibetan Buddhism lends a compassion-based approach to all her projects. She brings over 10 years of experience as a professional wildlife biologist, and a lifetime of musicianship, leading several bands including her latest project Babelord. Lela is the founder of our first flagship program, Hike Club, which was created as a response to her extensive research on the Loneliness Epidemic.

brinda RAMESH

Brinda is a sunset chaser and a mountain lover. She loves the meditative process of backpacking, and is always up for a hike that will turn legs into jelly. She enjoys writing poetry, learning about local activism, and sharing joy with others. Brinda likes to bring people together and believes in fostering a culture of openness, and she is thrilled to be a part of HÜMNKIND as a Hike Club leader.
