About This Event

Ground. Center. Connect. Give Back.

This Friday, we’re coming together not just for mindful presence but also for mutual aid. In light of the recent wildfires, this week's Meditation Happy Hour will serve as a fundraiser and donation drive for our Wildfire Relief.

Join us in community for a nervous-system regulating 30-minute meditation and an opportunity to support those impacted by this environmental crisis. Together, let’s cultivate presence and compassion—then extend that energy outward to our community in need.

Event Details

  • Time: 5:00-5:45pm. Doors open at 5:00pm. Meditation starts promptly at 5:15pm.

  • The Practice:

    • A brief, 10-minute guided grounding and centering practice.

    • Followed by 20 minutes of open sitting meditation in community.

  • All Levels: Whether you’re new to meditation or a seasoned practitioner, this space is for everyone.

When: Every Friday, 5:15–5:45 PM Where: Mind & Body Acupuncture (1822 Hillhurst Ave #1, Los Angeles, CA 90027) Contribution: Donation-based, all funds support those affected by the LA wildfires

Notes for This Event: Doors will close promptly at 5:15 PM to begin the practice. Please arrive early to find your seat and settle in. Some cushions will be provided, but bring your own if you have one :)


Donation Drive Details

We’ll be collecting physical donations to support wildfire relief efforts. Bring them to the event, and we'll be dropping them off! Suggested items include:

  • N95 Masks

  • Pet Food

  • First Aid Supplies: Bandaids, gauze, blankets

  • Filtered Water

  • Non-perishable food: Snacks, easy-open canned goods, instant rice/pasta, etc.

  • Toiletries: Shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes.

  • Clothing: New or gently used clothing, socks, underwear, protective wear, and cold-weather items.

All monetary donations will go to actively supporting wildfire relief to:
