FIELD TRIP: Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve

Details of this trip and carpool coordination will be sent out a few days prior to the event.

A superbloom is a rare desert botanical phenomenon in which an unusually high proportion of wildflowers blossom at roughly the same time. Usually this phenomenon occurs during high rain years. 

We are taking a field trip to the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve to experience this years' super bloom! We will be doing a moderate level 3.6 mile loop at the park. Afterwards, we will stop to get lunch together in Lancaster. Doggies are not allowed on at the Poppy Reserve so please leave your special little guys at home. Thank you!
