Community Programming

** trip details, packing list, and carpool coordination will be sent out in the confirmation email after enrollment

This is an all-levels, off-grid camping trip. Space is limited, so participants must sleep in tents (no car camping, RVs or large enclosures permitted). Previous camping experience is not required. We will have experienced nature guides on-site to support with set-up if you need. No dogs permitted on-site. Cell reception in-town, and landlines at the visitor center, but limited service on the campsite.

Spaces are limited, and we're expecting a lot of interest, so we encourage you to save your spot. This is going to be a really fun opportunity to drop in and better get to know your community while supporting the HÜMNKIND mission and programming :)

PRACTICING VULNERABILITY:

Aligned with our mission to overcome the loneliness epidemic, HÜMNKIND events are an invitation to practice openness and authenticity in a safe and supportive environment. We encourage our community members to be real and go a little deeper than we may normally go in daily life.

FUNDRAISER: HÜMNKIND is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run community organization. This program is a sliding-scale fundraising event supporting HÜMNKIND's mission of offering accessible human connection based in vulnerability and authenticity. Funds generated from this event help run our organization, subsidize our free/donation based Social Clubs (like Hike Club, Write Club, and Meditation Club) and continute to offer more community programs. Thank you for supporting the health and longevity of this community!

SLIDING SCALE CONTRIBUTION

$200-$400

Within our community there is a wide diversity of financial resources and needs. Sliding scale allows us to each practice equitable exchange for the benefit you receive from this community. Contribution supports our expenses and labors, while meeting you where you are.

Please select the level of exchange that most aligns with you:

STARTER $200

recommended for those with significant financial need or marginalized identities, who would not be able to enroll otherwise

SUSTAINER $275

recommended for most members, those with average financial resources, some discretionary income, and are actively participating in HÜMNKIND programs

SPONSOR $300

recommended for those with high-income or generational wealth to subsidize and support our scholarship participants and staff

SCHOLORSHIP SPONSOR $400

this level sponsors you, plus provides one scholarship opportunity for one other HÜMNKIND Member who cannot afford to come to the trip.
